What happened
On 12 March 2026, we detected unauthorised access to a subset of our user database. The incident was contained within 4 hours of detection.
What data was affected
- Name and email address
- Phone number (masked)
- Account preferences
Not affected: Passwords, financial data, PAN/Aadhaar, and transaction history were NOT compromised.

What BYLD is doing
We have engaged a third-party forensics firm, rotated all internal credentials, enhanced monitoring, and notified the Data Protection Board of India as required under DPDPA Section 8(8).
What you should do
- 1 Change your BYLD Wealth password immediately
- 2 Review recent transactions for any unauthorised activity
- 3 Enable two-factor authentication if not already active
- 4 Be cautious of phishing emails referencing this incident
